Google's new experimental model, Gemini-Exp-1114, has achieved a joint No. 1 ranking alongside OpenAI's ChatGPT-4o-latest (2024-09-03) in the Chatbot Arena benchmarks, with an increased overall Arena score from 1301 to 1344. It tops categories such as Vision, Math, Creative Writing, Longer Query, Instruction Following, and Multi-turn conversations.
